    Despite the name, Asparagus Fern isn’t a true fern - it’s part of the lily family and more closely related to asparagus than actual ferns. Native to South Africa, it’s known for its soft, feathery foliage and elegant trailing or upright growth. Fun fact: its delicate appearance hides a tough personality - it’s far more drought-tolerant than it looks.

    Asparagus Fern prefers bright, indirect light, but will also adapt to medium-light spaces. In UAE apartments, a spot near a bright window with filtered light is ideal. It can tolerate a little morning sun, but avoid prolonged direct exposure which may scorch its fine leaves.

    Water when the top 2–3cm of soil feels dry. Asparagus Fern likes regular moisture but doesn’t want to sit in water.
