Boston Ferns do best in bright, indirect light. In UAE apartments, they’re happy near a window with filtered sun, such as behind a sheer curtain. Direct sunlight can cause the delicate fronds to dry out or burn, so keep them in soft light.

Keep the soil consistently moist, but not soggy. Boston Ferns are a little more thirsty than most houseplants, especially in air-conditioned rooms. Check frequently, and water as soon as the surface starts to dry. If you're using a self-watering pot, it's an excellent way to maintain steady hydration - just keep the reservoir topped up.
