    Native to the Arabian Peninsula, Aloe Vera is a true desert survivor with thick, water-storing leaves. It’s prized for its soothing gel, used in skincare and wellness. Fun fact: Aloe was referred to as the “plant of immortality” by ancient Egyptians.

    Aloe Vera loves bright, direct to filtered sunlight. It thrives near a sunny window or balcony door. In UAE homes, a spot with plenty of natural light - even full morning or late afternoon sun - is ideal. Just avoid placing it against hot glass where it might overheat.
    Watering

    Let the soil dry out completely between waterings. Aloe stores water in its thick leaves and is very drought-tolerant. Water sparingly, especially in winter. If you’re using one of our self-watering pots, fill the reservoir only occasionally - Aloe prefers to dry out thoroughly before another drink.
    Temperature & Humidity

    Perfectly adapted to warm, dry conditions, Aloe Vera thrives in temperatures between 20-32°C. It’s right at home in UAE apartments and doesn’t need added humidity. Just keep it away from very cold air or direct A/C drafts, which can stress the plant over time.
    Ongoing Care

    Remove any dry or damaged leaves from the base using clean hands or scissors. Dust the leaves gently with a soft cloth to keep them looking clean and healthy. Aloe grows slowly indoors but rewards patience with fresh new shoots over time.
