    Common Name: Money Plant / Golden Pothos

    Also called Devil’s Ivy or Golden Pothos, the Money Plant originates from French Polynesia. It’s beloved for its trailing vines and tolerance of nearly any indoor condition. Fun fact: it stays green even in near-total darkness.

    Money Plant — Light Guide

    Money Plants do well in a wide range of light conditions, from low light to bright, indirect sun. In UAE apartments, they thrive near windows with filtered light or even in corners that don’t get much sun. Avoid direct afternoon sunlight, which can scorch the leaves.
    Watering

    Water when the top few centimetres of soil feel dry. This plant is forgiving if you forget now and then, and it prefers to dry out a little between waterings. Using a self-watering pot makes things even easier - just keep the reservoir filled, and the plant will draw what it needs.
    Temperature & Humidity

    Pothos is well-suited to typical indoor temperatures (20-28°C) and doesn’t fuss about humidity. It grows happily in air-conditioned spaces across the UAE, but do keep it out of cold drafts or next to blasting vents.
    Ongoing Care

    Trim the vines regularly to encourage bushier growth and stop them from getting leggy. You can also propagate cuttings in water - they root easily and make great starter plants for friends. Wipe the leaves every now and then to keep them glossy and dust-free.
