Native to the tropical rainforests of Central and South America, the Peace Lily is known for its elegant white bracts and ability to thrive indoors. Despite the name, it’s not a true lily - but it is one of the most popular houseplants worldwide, thanks to its air-purifying qualities and graceful presence.

Light Guide

Peace Lilies prefer indirect light, from low to bright. In most UAE apartments, they do well a couple of metres away from a window - just avoid placing them directly in harsh sun

Watering

Water when the top 2-3cm of soil feels dry. If the leaves begin to droop, it's a gentle reminder they’re ready for a drink - they usually perk up within hours. If you’re using one of our self-watering pots, just keep the reservoir topped up and let the plant drink at its own pace. It’s a great match for the UAE climate.

Temperature & Humidity

Peace Lilies are comfortable in typical indoor temperatures between 18–28°C. Air conditioning is absolutely ﬁne, but it’s best to keep them away from direct blasts from vents. They appreciate a bit of humidity, so bathrooms and kitchens can be ideal spots, or you can give the leaves a light mist every now and then.

Ongoing Care

Trim any yellow or tired leaves at the base to keep the plant looking tidy. Gently wipe the leaves with a soft cloth every so often to remove dust and maintain their natural shine.
