Keep the soil lightly and consistently moist, allowing the top 2-3cm to dry out slightly between waterings. This plant can be sensitive to hard tap water, so filtered water is ideal where possible. If you're using one of our self-watering pots, simply keep the reservoir topped up to provide the steady moisture this plant enjoys, especially in air-conditioned homes.

Calathea Leopardina thrives in temperatures between 20-28°C and prefers moderate to high humidity. It adapts well to indoor living in the UAE but will appreciate occasional misting or placement in a naturally more humid room, such as a bathroom with natural light. Keep it away from direct A/C vents and sudden temperature changes.

Wipe the leaves gently with a soft cloth to remove dust and keep the foliage looking its best. Trim any yellowing or brown-edged leaves with clean scissors, following the natural shape of the leaf. With consistent watering and stable conditions, Calathea Leopardina will continue to produce beautiful new foliage throughout the year.
